Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. They must have 3+ years of software development experience, focusing on storage systems, file systems, or distributed storage architectures. Strong experience with C++ or another low-level systems programming language is required, along with familiarity with FUSE or other file system abstractions and a deep understanding of cloud storage backends such as S3 and GCS.

Candidates should possess proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Systems Administrator, or related role, along with experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure) and confidence in their ability to quickly familiarize themselves with another. Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Circle is required, as is experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.

Candidates should have proven experience in SaaS sales, ideally within the data analytics, database, or developer tooling space, a strong product and technical curiosity, a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota, drive and resilience, and coachability and self-awareness.
