Candidates should possess 7+ years of experience in Canadian indirect tax and e-commerce, demonstrating a deep understanding of marketplace facilitator laws in Canada, particularly as they relate to Amazon.ca. Familiarity with Avalara or similar tax automation tools and their integration with Amazon and accounting systems is required, along with experience advising U.S.-based companies launching into Canada. A CPA designation or equivalent Canadian tax certification is preferred.
